Really good! The opponent does need to be nerfed. Also, maybe add more to the tutorial text, since I didn't know I was actually doing damage for a while, and maybe buff the army camp. I still love it tho :D (Totally not biased) It made me feel like a ninja... I tried my best

Really fun game! One thing though; make sure your aspect ratios are correct so people actually read your tutorial text. I didn't notice there was some until like 5 levels in, and it left me pretty confused. I was able to figure out most things, but not everything. I like the concept of RTS style gameplay without troops or whatever, but it felt a little confusing at points. Roads showing up randomly, the cost of roads seeming pretty inconsistant, even when accounting for the amount of roads connected to that building, being able to build roads for the enemy and the confusingly missing option to destroy roads. Overall, I like the idea and this could easily be the foundation of a pretty good game, but in it's current state it's mostly confusing.

I like the idea, but the mechanics were pretty opaque to me. Like others have said, as soon as the opponent gets introduced, they start making fast, optimal moves and I didn't feel like I understood enough about the game by that point to be successful. I feel like I need more visual feedback from the game in order to understand (Why do certain roads cost more to build than others? Why can certain roads only be built in one direction? Why do enemy roads make my roads more expensive? Why, when my barracks is getting attacked, does building a road to counterattack make my opponent stronger? Why do I suddenly start gaining a ton of money when I'm about to lose?)

Beat it! This was super fun, - sort of an RTS-meets-cookie-clicker kind of vibe. I think it successfully distills the core of RTS macro strategy (deciding when to attack and when to build up your economy) without having a lot of unit-based micro. Especially long and in-depth for a jam game too! I think the first couple levels where the enemy can attack serve as a giant spike in difficulty - because there's not many buildings, the AI can make optimal moves and overwhelm the player easily. I would suggest maybe given the player an extra building in those levels to help ease them into fighting against a capable opponent.

A fairly well build simple game. Has plenty of room to expand into if you want. One thing I didn't like is how the opponent attaching a road to your building increased the cost of your own roads from that building. It would also be nice to have a finish battle style button if you have taken all of your opponents attacking buildings. Nice work overall for a game jam.

For me this game is kinda hard. When the opponent was added fully I couldn't get through at all. This is a very good little game!

Really creative take on the theme! And I think the mechanics are really solid and interesting. Could really see myself getting lost in an expanded version of this. Really nice job! It's simple but really effective
